Featured on the latest quarterly are a series of icons O Street developed for Glasgow's Future City dashboard as part of the Open Glasgow project. A big part of this pioneering project (read more about it here) was to make sure the data was presented in a unique and engaging manner. The dashboard needed to establish a recognisable style for the brand that could become building blocks for it's growth. Together with our development partner Stipso, we took an 'open-source' approach to the whole project, meaning that anyone can use the work or add to it. So it only seemed fitting to take this approach with the icon design too. And here they are, or at least some of them! With three sets (tools, weather and foods), these icons will soon be available for anyone to download. We can't wait to see where they end up and what folk do with them.
